Blues Traveler was finally
launched after a one and a half year refit which included a new cabin house,
major deck repair, new bowsprit, new awlgrip,
chainplates, standing and running rigging, sails, 10 bronze opening ports, windlass, monitor windvane, etc. etc. She was put together with the idea
of venturing singlehanded to faraway places, and a trip to Austalia, and New Zealand via Southern Ocean is in the plans. Several modifications have
been, and continue to be made to make her a serious bluewater boat. I would be happy to share my ideas with anyone interested, and would like to hear
from anyone who has made simular modifications to a Mariner.
