Boat name: "Architeuthis" (it was IHILANI when we got it)
Year: Documented as 1970 but given the hull number, 1968 is a lot more likely
Owners' name and Home Port: Jared Kibele. Hailing port: Moss Landing, CA, currently berthed in Ventura. Christine and Jared live in Santa Barbara
I bought the boat in Long Beach in December of 2007 and brought it up to Moss Landing in January of 2008. ...Then got a job in Santa Barbara and moved the boat down to Ventura in November of 2008. My wife Christine and I are currently preparing Architeuthis for a trip to the south pacific and New Zealand. We plan to leave in the fall of 2010. We've done a lot of work on the boat and I'll try to get some more info together to post on the site.
