Billiken suffered a dismasting after extensive renovation
including complete rudder refurbishment, new wire and interior restoration. The
dismasting caused some damage to the coach roof. That owner walked away and the boat was given up as salvage by the insurance
company. The next owner, the one previous to myself , repaired the coach
roof damage, acquired aluminum replacement spars and mounted the mizzen but not
the main spar. I am responsible for chain plate replacement. Billiken also
needs a spot of rot on the coac h roof repaired as well as exterior paint...
below and above the waterline. Really happy to be a new member of the Mariner
family and look forward to cruising Billiken.
