My name is Joe Russell. I recently purchased C-DREAM, an M40 hull number 93 built in 1972. I have been told that she is the second to the last M40 that Clair built. I have renamed her FREEBOOTER. She is currently moored in San Diego but her home port is Mystic. She was owned by the same master for 27 years and has cruised extensively from the west coast to the east, Bermuda and the Caribbean. She has been maintained in mint condition with an impressive inventory of equipment and spares.
For 30 years I have cruised the west coast,the Caribbean and the South Pacific and, as a side effort, write cruising guides and feature pieces for cruising magazines. FREEBOOTER will be used on guide writing expeditions to several parts of the Pacific and the Caribbean.
