"Gitana" 1972 Mariner 31 Hull 126 Owned by Phil Glass and berthed in Channel Islands Harbor, Oxnard, Ca.
She was from Coyote Point in SF Bay Area at one time but purchased in Oxnard from Pete Rousell of Bakersfield Ca.
My contributions to her present condition are: New alum. fuel tank, new bowsprit, hull refinished with LP and the boot stripe leveled out with the water. Refinished main and mizzen masts, tabernacle to accomodate our bridge. Some deck repair and cockpit work. She came to me with a new electrical panel, elect. chain windlass and radar. I had full covers made to try to minimize maintenance.
