We have just purchased a 1970 Mariner 31, Hull #42 in Olympia, WA.She's got graceful lines, a sound Yanmar engine, sturdy hull. the deck, cabin and cockpit leak and are in need of replacement. Masts need refinishing, needs sails, many other things.
Like many boats of this age, she past is a mystery. She came with no name. We don't know where she's been or what she's done. But we know what she's capable of, and that is a very exciting vision for our family.
We are Lyle Harris and Amy Mercer, with our 5-year old son, Sam Harris. Home port is Vashon Island, WashingtonI've probably read every page of the mariner website, and am happy to be bringing this boat into such fine company.
