We are new owners of Elysium, 1975 Mariner 32, berthed in Sausalito, CA.
Can't find the hull #, and are searching for information on earlier owners -
she was named 'Greyling' before. We're changing the name to Kathryn Grace
(the first names of our two granddaughters; Grace is two weeks old and came
into the world the same week we added the boat to the family).

We are Eric Schoenberg & Debbie Mazzolini. I run an acoustic guitar shop in
Tiburon, CA, and Debbie is a library director. We had been searching for the
appropriate boat for about 3 years, when a good friend, Jason Winkel, a
first-rate professional rigger (Argo Rigging, San Rafael, CA) introduced us
to Matthew Steeves, another rigger, who was trying to sell 'Elysium' because
he was moving to New York in two days. He took us out for a sail, and we
were completely hooked.

We had our first night anchored out two nights ago at Paradise Cove in
Tiburon under a full moon and it was beautiful. The next day we spent our
first time sailing KG. The one big incident was coming out from the lee of
Angel Island into a windier-than-usual (Fall is usually pretty benign) SF
Bay wind-slot with all sails flying. We panicked a little, got the
(roller-furling) jib sheets completely tangled and did a sloppy jibe to get
back to the peaceful waters behind the island. After that the rest of the
day was peaceful and pleasant under jib and mizzen.

More photos soon.
