I am the fourth owner,
buying "Morning Star" (original name) in January 1991. I owned a
Mac Gregor 24 before the Mariner from 1976.
The original owner was a navy man and sailed the boat to Cuba at least once. It has a engraved oil lamp inside attesting to that. I have sailed it all around the middle Chesapeake bay since 1991. It has a new Beta diesel(1998)and a figure head of a shooting star which I carved.
